Students at USC send rocket into Space


Students at USC have sent a rocket into space (Karman Line). The rocket reached an apogee of 339,800 feet. Traveler IV ,the schools 4th attempt at this goal, roared to life on the pad and reached speeds over Mach 5.1. This makes only the USC team the second amateur group to send a rocket into space. The first was the CSXT(Civilian Space eXploration Team) who first did this in 2004 and then again in 2014.
