SpaceX X-37B OTV-5 Launch Info

UPDATE: Launch and Landing Successful – 2nd stage burn successful beyond that we enter the realms of secrecy. Hopefully we will get some kind of confirmation that the X-37B entered its desired orbit.

For the first time SpaceX will launch the secretive X-37B Space Plane for the Air Force on a secret mission in Space.

As of 9/6 is a 50% Go for weather as Irma approaches. I’ll post updates as launch window approaches.


Launch Window: September 7th at 13:50 UTC and closes at 18:55UTC (9:50AM to 2:55PM Eastern Standard Time)

Launch Location: Launch Complex 39A at Cape Canaveral

Payload: X-37B for Air Force

Landing: Yes on LZ-1
