Iran claims it sent bio-capsule into orbit

Kavoshgar-4 (translated as Explorer)

The “bio-capsule” was launched 75 miles into orbit on Tuesday by the Kavoshgar-4 rocket
The “bio capsule” which is designed to carry a monkey or other animals into space did not have a living cargo on this launch. It is expected that a dummy cargo was in the capsule perhaps even a stuffed monkey.
“The launch was aimed at testing the function of programming systems and subsystems.
The launch platform, engine, electronic and telemetry systems, the separation system between the rocket and its payload, telemetry ground stations and imaging data, ranging, and bio-capsule will also be tested in the mission.” – Iranian News Agency
