Orbital test new engine

Taurus II on pad

Orbital tested an engine for it’s Taurus II rocket today. Currently the Taurus II is under development under the COTS program to deliver supplies to the International Space Station. The current version is a two stage vehicle but can be eventually configured as a 3 stage vehicle capable of leaving orbit.
