Video of the Sept. 10th Ares static motor test

The skies of Utah were ablaze as NASA and Ares engineers static fired the Ares first stage motor

Since there always seems to be a bit of controversy over the use of the word “motor” since Estes called their motors engines early on.
Remember the official NASA nomenclature:
Solid Fuel = Motor
Liquid Fuel = Engine
