Giant NASA photo archive now live

NASA in partnership with the Internet Archive has released it’s new site devoted to archiving images and videos in it’s collection. The site goes live with nearly 140,000 images and videos. Over time the site is due to grow to add 12 million pictures and up to 100,000 hours of video. (see earlier report)

“Currently the website include images and video of the Apollo moon missions, Hubble Space Telescope’s views of the solar system, as well as photographs and video describing the evolution of spacecraft.”
