Big Rocketry Week – May 2008

This is a busy week coming up. Starting this weekend with the TARC finals in Plains, VA. Then next weekend May 24,25 and 26th we have the National Sport Launch in Orangeburg, SC.
I wish the best of luck to the many TARC teams that will be participating this weekend. I have witnessed the practice flights and qualification of teams and know of all of the hard work involved. Good Luck teams. I will post results as soon as they are availble.

Next weekend is NSL 2008. I will be attending this and hope to file a report afterwards. Info on NSL 2008 can be found here.

…also next weekend the Phoenix Lander will be landing (hopefully) in the Mars polar region. This hopes to be an exciting mission. Watch this video on the landing process and  visit the Phoenix site. I hope it lands OK – my name is on the lander.
